Church Building. Pencil. 2016. For this piece, I used a reference photo of a church in my town. I used a ruler to get straight, neat lines, and drawing pencils to get different varieties of shades. The building itself has many details, including lettering on signs, shadows on bricks, and windows with intricate designs on them. I spent many class periods and some time out of the classroom to make sure I got every little detail in the drawing that I could.
